Whirligig Willies Interest (synopsis and plans included)

Hey everyone, I just wanted to say something (being straightforward)  I guess you can say this is asking for feedback in the wider sense, so, to anyone who played this demo, is it something enjoyable? or I guess more accurately something you want to see completed? I say this because I want the motivation to continue, and a lot of things in life especially right now say don’t, but I personally do, but I don’t want to work on something that will lead to nowhere.

This game vary developed conceptionally because it was a carry over from a different game of mine , with most level themes worked out and a lot of story thought out, so far the demo is banjo-kazooie like, and it is that way by design, if you played the demo, you will notice the bosses on the first 2 levels are being controlled by someone, the cutscene is not developed yet, but the dialog is there on the demo.

So you will notice something is unraveling, yes,  the first 3 levels will appear to be innocent adventuring but changes during the 4th level, anyway, here is a short (and detailed) insight of what I have of the game so far after the demo below to help on your decision.

- - - - - -

Caesar Scrapworks: a junk yard (or train scrapyard) like level with a metal refinery building in it, this will be the last innocent level but the boss of the level rather then being controlled is a minion of the main antagonist and will throw hints at the identity of the antagonist, beating this level will end the “lockdown” (why the hub world is empty in the demo), and you will be able to enter houses in the main city area from this point forward.

- - - - -

St. Maya Town Center: the locked up buildings “super chow” and “flashun”, the "super chow" is grocery store that will feature a “tournament” and a mystery unfolding during that tournament, if you ever played "Paper Mario: A Thousand Year Door" I am aiming to make it something similar to the glitzville chapter of that game, while the "flashshun" building is a department store with a underground secret, which has a conspiracy  which will go deeper and reveal more about the antagonist and your character and try to take a darker direction like the tanker chapter in "Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons Of Liberty", this is where the game stops being a innocent adventure.

- - - - -

That’s Fair: the big empty park with the 3 trees in the middle, the amendment used the open this level causes the big empty park to filled into a carnival (amusement park), it has a lot of obstacle course areas and plays like the first 3 levels, a small break from what happens in the 4th chapter,  you find the 2nd amendment here but it possesses a davy crocket doll (like "Geno" from Super Mario RPG) during this level, this new friend will help you from time to time from now on, and you will get hints to a mysterious warehouse after the level boss fight which you will go next.

- - - - - -

Windup Warehouse: not visible in the demo since it’s on top of the mountain that acts as the wall between the southern street and who’s shore,  is a abandoned physic ward disguised as or turned into a windup toy castle,  here, it's all abandoned, no enemies, however this will be more puzzle focused with hidden rooms and secrets, and  spread out are “file” objects of text that explain game lore and hints to the puzzles (much like the files in "Resident Evil" series), the boss of this level patrols the area and hunts you down like Mr. X in the Resident Evil 2 Remake, and makes up for the lack of enemies.

- - - - - -

Little City: not visible in the demo, is a snow globe city the size of a coffee table located somewhere in the skyscrapers of the city, one of the collected amendments help you to turn small and enter the city, this level will be fetch quest for opposing crime mobs for all of it's objectives and instead of having enemies, and it have a "police mechanic" like "Grand Theft Auto" when enough mischief is done, other "Whirligigs" like yourself will chase and ram you to death, I am  aiming for a Driver and GTA feel for this level.

- - - - - - -

Just Married Weather: not visible in the demo since it is directly above the city (hub world), is a castle in the sky that is home to a sorority of Disney Princess like characters (women who wear frilly dresses and are eternally beautiful), who are innocent and nice on the outside but as you get into the level find out that it is not so (to be honest this is a carry over level from the previous incarnation of this game, and I may change this one )

- - - - - - -

Capitol Hill: not visible in the demo since it's past the RV deeper in the city, is like the library of fortitude, a government building I guess you can say a city hall, which is the area where you meet and fight the main antagonist and where the constitution is reunited as one to end the game (this level concept is not final and may change)
